My Experience With Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma: A Journey of Hope, Resilience, and Triumph
Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma (NHL) is a type of cancer that affects the lymphatic system. It can be a frightening and life-changing diagnosis, but it is important to remember that there is hope. If you have been diagnosed with NHL, you are not alone. In this book, I share my personal experience with NHL in the hope of providing support and encouragement to others who are facing this challenge.
My Diagnosis
I was diagnosed with NHL in 2010, at the age of 35. I had no idea what it was, and I was terrified. I was a single mother of two young children, and I couldn't imagine how I was going to get through this.
My Treatment
I underwent six months of chemotherapy, followed by a stem cell transplant. The treatment was difficult, but I was determined to fight. I had the support of my family and friends, and I drew strength from my faith.
