Saemaul Brief is a heartwarming novel that tells the story of two sisters who learn to appreciate their Korean heritage and the importance of family.

The novel is set in Seoul, South Korea, and follows the lives of two sisters, Kim Sook-ja and Kim Eun-hee. Sook-ja is the older sister and is a bright and ambitious student. Eun-hee is the younger sister and is more carefree and outgoing.

In the village, the sisters meet a kind old woman named Mrs. Kim. Mrs. Kim teaches the sisters about Korean culture and traditions. The sisters also learn about the importance of family and community.
