About the Author
Roger Kahn is an American author and journalist. He has written over 20 books on baseball, including The Boys of Summer, which won the Pulitzer Prize for General Nonfiction in 1972. Kahn has also written for The New York Times, The New Yorker, and Sports Illustrated.
Kahn is a member of the Baseball Hall of Fame and the National Sportswriters and Sportscasters Hall of Fame. He is considered one of the greatest baseball writers of all time.
