I spent the next two years on the transplant waiting list. During that time, I went through a lot of ups and downs. There were times when I felt hopeful and optimistic. And there were times when I felt scared and alone.
But through it all, I never gave up hope. I knew that I had to stay strong for myself and for my family. I also knew that I had a lot to live for.
In 2017, I finally received a heart transplant. It was a long and difficult surgery, but it was also a success. I am now recovering from my transplant and I am grateful for every day that I have.
My journey to transplant has been a challenging one, but it has also been a rewarding one. I have learned a lot about myself and about the human spirit. I have also gained a new appreciation for life.
I am sharing my story in the hope that it will inspire others who are facing their own challenges. I want people to know that there is always hope, even in the darkest of times.
My Heart Content is a story of:
- Hope
- Strength
- The power of the human spirit
It is a story that will inspire you to never give up on your dreams, no matter how difficult they may seem.
